Doesn’t the Occupy movement square exactly with James Chowning Davies’ theory that “when rising levels of individual expectation coincide with falling levels of perceived well-being, that gap makes a culture ripe for upheaval”? Seems like a much more apt parallel than “when rising levels of alcohol intake coincide with falling levels of good judgment!”
